"Had a great lunch with a friend I had not seen in a long time. It was wonderful to be able to chat where there was a little chat from other tables and staff nice activity but not blaring tv blasting out. I had the BEST chicken buffalo sandwich ever there. I was ordering think it will be okay but I really loved it. There was a delicious thin coating of breading with delicious sauce but I was very glad the breading didn't overwhelm the chicken. It didn't. Lovely lettuce and tomato with it. Great lunch I will be back."

"We're always looking for diners like this when we travel on back roads through Ohio. The Dashing Diner is exactly what we are looking for! The inside of the diner has lots of things that give it an old-time vibe. It's busy and it's noisy and the servers seem to know everyone who stops in. We love this kind of atmosphere, but it might not be for everyone. We each had a breakfast sandwich and chips. You get to build your sandwich however you want. We went with plain old egg and cheese with lettuce, but you can add bacon, sausage, whatever! It was pretty tasty! The next time we are in the area, we'll definitely stop in and try out the full breakfast option. Cool place. Friendly service. We loved it, but we also realize that this kind of place isn't for everybody. Oh, yeah, the coffee was awesome!"

"Totally awesome diner. Friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent food. We all opted for the Country Omelette with rye toast. At least two of us would normally order at least one other side dish. It wasn't necessary with this meal. Filling. But not overly so. I would recommend this diner to anyone who finds themselves in the area."

"We visited Dashing Diner around 9 AM on a November Saturday. It was busy but we waited only a few minutes before getting a booth. Menus were on the table so we could start looking at our food/drink options right away. It took several minutes for the server to get to our table for our order, but it wasn't any fault of hers. She was busy; I think she had four tables seated at the same time. However, she had an electronic "order pad" and once we ordered, I think it went directly to the kitchen staff. The food arrived soon after placing the order. It was hot and delicious...and just enough food to satisfy our appetites without causing us to overeat or leave food behind. The atmosphere and decor reminded me of childhood restaurants or eating at Grandma's house. There were tablecloths and other linens hanging under shelves that looked like some that belonged to my grandma. And the toys on the shelves were just as nostalgic. I found an Easy Bake Oven like I had back in the 1960's. An extra bonus for us were the veterans seated around the place (it was Veterans Day and they were wearing their service caps) whose meals were being paid for by other patrons. Proud and emotional moments for everyone there. I'm glad we stopped here and I look forward to returning often."

"This is such a cute diner. Ashley was our waitress and she was great. The veggie omelette was very good. I like that you can choose your cheese too. The diner is decorated adorable too! They have specials that change so you can try a lot of great food for a reasonable price! They have seating up at the counter and booths and tables. They also have several highchairs for the little ones. You can park right outside the restaurant on the street or across the street. There's a crosswalk for you to use and parking is free. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!"

"I love me a diner looking diner and that's exactly what you get here. It's old school, has the bar you can eat at as well as booths. The food was delicious made fresh. And the waitresses and the rest of the staff were really courteous, friendly and nice. Perfect place to grab some breakfast or early lunch."
